Economics Research Experience for Undergraduates

Dec. 6–7, 2012

Call for Papers

The Becker Friedman Institute at the University of Chicago will host a conference on Policy Uncertainty and its Economic Implications in Chicago on December 6–7, 2012.   We seek submission of papers to be presented at the conference.

This conference is spurred by the increasing academic and policy interest around the cause, effect, measurement and definition of economic and policy uncertainty. A series of papers on the topic—typically early stage research pieces—will be presented over the two-day period. The event is organized by Nicholas Bloom of Stanford University and Steven J. Davis of the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. The conference will include a dinner on the evening of December 6.

The deadline for submissions is Sept. 15, 2012. Researchers interested in submitting a paper for presentation at this conference should complete a short online form and upload the paper here. Authors will receive notification by Sept. 30 if their paper is accepted.
