Graham Elliott

Graham Elliott teaches at UCSD, where his principle area of research is econometrics. He focuses on producing statistical methods focusing on questions of interest in economics. His recent research includes looking at forecast combinations and nearly optimal tests.
Elliott has several significant publications; he is the editor of the Handbook of Economic Forecasting. In addition, he has been involved with the creation of computer programs that deal with the DF-GLS test (1996, Econometrica) and the qll statistic of Elliott and Mueller (2006, Review of Economic Studies). Elliott is also a research associate with the Australian National University's Centre for Applied Macroeconomic Analysis.
Elliott previously has been a Visiting Professor at Princeton University, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and Harvard University. He received his BComm (1st Class Honors) from the University of New South Wales in Australia and his PhD from Harvard.
