Jakub Kastl

Jakub Kastl's main research interests are in the fields of industrial organizations and auctions. His secondary interests include applied econometrics, game theory and the economics of information. His recent work explored the equilibrium properties of divisible good auctions.

Kastl is a faculty research fellow with the Nation Bureau of Economic Research, as well as a faculty fellow at Stanford Institute for Economic Policy Research. He is an associate editor for the International Journal of Industrial Organization and a member of the Econometric Society and the American Economic Association.

Kastl earned two bachelor's degrees—one in economics and the other in international business—at the University of Prague. He then earned his MA and PhD in Economics at Northwestern University.
