Arthur Robson

Arthur Robson's research revolves around the belief that modern human economic behavior is best explained by considering biological and anthropological factors. He is also interested in the study of game theory as well as status.

Before joning the faculty of Simon Fraser University, Robson held faculty positions at the University of Western Ontario and Northeastern University. He has held visting faculty positions at Johns Hopkins University, the University of Michigan and the Universität Mannheim.

Robson is an economic theory fellow of the Society for the Advancement of Economic Theory. He is also a fellow of the Royal Society of Canada, as well as the Econometric Society. He is also affiliated with the Economics Department of the University of Southern California via TREND (Theoretical Research in Neuroeconomic Decision-making).

Robson earned his PhD in Economics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he also took courses in Pure Mathematics. He was a Fulbright Fellow.
