Inaugural Conference

April 7–8, 2006

Panel discussions on topics ranging from the economics of health to the biggest questions facing economists launched the Becker Center on Chicago Price Theory at its inaugural conference in 2006.  A tribute to Gary Becker was also held, and a major gift from Richard O. Ryan, MBA ’66, providing for the naming of the center in Becker’s honor was acknowledged at the tribute.
