The Research Professionals Program is designed to train a new generation of scholars to use the tools of Chicago Price Theory.
This program gives recent college graduates an opportunity to work with faculty on price theory research projects. They learn innovative techniques and methods of the economics sciences while exploring important social, economic or policy questions.
These one- and two-year positions employ promising scholars in roles that allow them to gain first-hand experience with the tasks and tools of world-class research before they enter a graduate program in economics.
In addition to their research projects, Research Professionals are encouraged to attend Becker Center events and programs, including the price theory course taught by Professors Gary Becker and Keven Murphy.
