Celebrating the Milton Friedman Centennial

Becker Friedman Institute for Research in Economics will commemorate the centenary of Milton Friedman's birth with a special event highlighting his enduring contributions to economic thought.

Leading economists, including Friedman's former students and colleagues, will participate in an afternoon of panel discussions. One panel will exploring the impact of his superb scholarship in the area of monetary economics. Another will focus on Friedman's insights on the role of government.
