Eric Leeper

Eric Leeper’s research has focused on fiscal and monetary policy analysis, and the theoretical and empirical study of their interaction.

Before becoming a professor of economics at Indiana University, he worked for eight years for the Federal Reserve in Atlanta and Washington D.C. He is a research associate with the National Bureau of Economic Research and Director of the Center for Applied Economics and Policy Research at Indiana University.

His work has been published in a number of journals including the American Economic Review, the Journal of Political Economy, and the Journal of Monetary Economics.

He received his doctorate from the University of Minnesota.
