Professor in the Department of Economics

I am a Professor in the Department of Economics at UCL and a Research Fellow at the Institute for Fiscal Studies, where I direct the Centre for the Evaluation of Development Policies (EDePo). I am interested in modelling household behaviour in developed and developing countries and, more generally, in Applied Econometrics. In particular, my current and recent research has focused on:Household Consumption and Saving Behaviour;Life Cycle Behaviour;Risk Sharing;Housing Markets;Evaluation and Design of Policies in Developing Countries;Micro Credit;Measurement Tools in Surveys. I am currently Editor of Quantitative Economics, a new journal of the Econometric Society.
