Hoyt Bleakley is an Associate Professor of Economics at the Booth School of Business. He studies economic development, human capital, economic history, and economic geography. This has led him to do research ranging from the eradication of malaria to language skills and immigration. He is also a Senior Investigator at the Center for Population Economics and a Research Associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research.
