Prof. Richard Ebstein received his MS and PhD degrees in the United States at Yale University and his post-doctoral training in Neurochemistry with Prof. Menek Goldstein at NYU Medical Center. He is a Professor Emeritus in the Psychology Department at the Hebrew University (Jerusalem) and for the past year is a Professor in the Psychology Department at the National University of Singapore. In Singapore, Prof. Ebstein along with Prof. CHEW Soo Hong (Economics) are jointly heading a group of researchers including economists, psychologists, neuroscientists and molecular geneticists investigating core issues in the nascent field of Neuroeconomics http://b2ess.nus.edu.sg/pages/index.htm . Ebstein has made substantial contributions to the molecular genetics of human personality and is a pioneer in applying neurogenetic strategies towards understanding individual and social decision making. He has published ~260 peer reviewed articles (PubMed).
