Rita Ginja is currently a Researcher in the Department of Economics at the Uppsala University. She holds a PhD in Economics from University College London (UCL), where she studied between 2004 and 2010. Rita's research interests include applied economics, labor economics and development. She has been working on the evaluation of anti-poverty programs in U.S., U.K. and Latin America. Rita is also studying the changes in within households' allocations in responses to income shocks and to which extent these changes are transferred to children's human capital.
