Human Capital and Economic Opportunity: A Global Working Group

Andy Glover

University of Texas at Austin
Assistant Professor

I am a quantitative macroeconomist, with an interest in how micro heterogeneity interacts with legal institutions and market structures. My recent work is on entrepreneurship, the redistributional effects of recessions, and the cyclical consequences of adverse selection in labor markets. Most related to the Market group, I am interested in how human capital accumulation is affected by adverse selection, either between a student and creditors or between college graduates and employers.
