Florian Hoffmann is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at the University of British Columbia. He received is Ph.D. from the University of Toronto in 2010. His research interests are in the determinants of life-cycle career dynamics, earnings dynamics, dynamic discrete choice models of human capital formation, estimation of equilibrium search models, and the importance of student-instructor interactions for academic achievement on the post-secondary education level.
