Human Capital and Economic Opportunity: A Global Working Group

My current research interests center around theoretical and experimental approaches to market/mechanism design and behavioral/psychological game theory. Particularly, with regard to the purpose of the Inequality: Measurement, Interpretation, and Policy working group, I am working on the following research questions: How to achieve "equitable" outcomes in public market/mechanism design problems such as school choice? What relationship is there between achieving "equitability" and promoting "competition"? I am also interested in the evolutionary and developmental origins of people's preferences for equality, if any.
