I am a macroeconomist with an interest in insurance markets and public policy analysis. I am particularly interested in the interactions between private insurance, self-insurance and social insurance. My recent research focuses on the health insurance market and the market for private annuities in the US. I received my PhD in economics from the University of Virginia and currently I am an Assistant Professor at the Uppsala University.
