Javaeria Qureshi

Javaeria Qureshi is a fifth year Ph.D. student at the Harris School of Public Policy Studies at the University of Chicago. She holds a B.A. with highest distinction in Economics (highest honors) and Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She has worked at the World Bank, the Planning and Development Department of the Government of Pakistan and has also conducted fieldwork on microfinance. Some of her current research analyzes the spillover effects of oldest sister's education on younger sibling human capital, and the effect of school quality on student achievement.
