Gary Solon is Professor of Economics at Michigan State University. Most of his research is in labor economics and applied econometrics. He is an Editor of the B.E. Journal of Economic Analysis and Policy, a Research Associate of the National Bureau of Economic Research, and a Fellow of the Society of Labor Economists.
