Michelle Sovinsky Goeree is an Associate Professor at the University of Zurich. She received her PhD in 2002 from the University of Virginia. Her research in family economics concerns how children make decisions regarding long-term care for their elderly parents, the role played by informal care provided by children on parental health outcomes, and the role played by moral support on parental well-being.
