Gustavo Ventura is a Professor in the Economics Department of the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University. He received his PhD in Economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1997. He previously held positions at the University of Western Ontario, Pennsylvania State University, and the University of Iowa. His research interests are on inequality, taxation and economic development from a macroeconomic perspective.
