Matthew Wiswall is Assistant Professor of Economics at New York University, and a faculty affiliate of the Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development, the Institute for Education and Social Policy (IESP), and the Institute of Human Development and Social Change (IHDSC). Professor Wiswall is currently conducting research on the determinants of child development, human capital investment and occupational choice, and education policy. His research has been funded by the National Science Foundation and the US Department of Education. Professor Wiswall received his PhD in economics from the University of California-Los Angeles in 2005.
