Fang Yang is an assistant professor at the Dept. of Economics, University of Albany, SUNY. She obtained her PhD in Economics from the University of Minnesota in 2006. Her research focuses on housing, consumption, wealth inequality, social security, and education. She studies individual optimal choices in an environment with uninsurable risk and the effect of policy changes on the aggregate economic outcomes in such an environment.
