RESEARCH PROFESSIONALS

How to Apply

To be eligible for a position as a research professional, candidates must be recent college graduates, preferably in the field of economics. Prospective research professionals need not have completed their undergraduate degree at the time of application, but must receive their degree before the position would begin.

The term of the appointment is one to two years before the Research Professional generally enters a graduate program in economics. Research Professionals are required to be in residence at the University of Chicago.

Applications (.pdf) are accepted directly from the candidates. Interested candidates should send an e-mail with their resume, two letters of recommendation, a copy of all transcripts (it need not be an official copy), and samples of their work to Tova Levin.

Applications are accepted year round and are saved for review when a position opens (typically occurring in the spring). Applications older then one year are removed from consideration.
